Overview

This Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) relates to matters arising from Performance Audit of Labour Department of Government of Rajasthan (GoR) on "Welfare of Building and Other Construction Workers", which was conducted to assess whether the rules notified by the State Government under the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 (BOCW Act) were consistent with the spirit of the Act and the existing set up was adequate to ensure compliance with the provisions of Act.
