Overview

In accordance with Article 151(2) of the Constitution of India, the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India on Performance Audit of Direct Benefit Transfer (Cash Transfer) - Government of Punjab, was forwarded to the State Government on 29 April 2022 for laying in the State Legislature.  The Report was laid in the State Legislature on 29 June 2022.

The Report contains the results of performance audit of Direct Benefit Transfer (Cash Transfer) in respect of the social security schemes being implemented by the Department of Social Security and Women and Child Development, Government of Punjab, in coordination with the State Direct Benefit Transfer Cell under the control of the Department of Governance Reforms and Public Grievances, Government of Punjab, for the period from April 2017 to July 2020.
