- Office of Director General of Audit (Central), Chandigarh was established w.e.f 2nd April, 2012
- The office is responsible for audit of all receipts and expenditures of Central Government units ( including Central Autonomous Bodies) located in the States of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Chandigarh.
- DGA (Central) is assisted by three Group Officers.
