Dr. Gaurav Kumar is an Indian Audit & Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer of 2009 batch. He holds an MBBS degree and an MBA in Financial Management. He is a certified professional in various fields, including Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). He assumed charge as the Accountant General, Mizoram on the forenoon of December 30, 2025. His earlier assignments include various roles within the Indian Audit and Accounts Department, as well as positions under the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) of India and the Government of India.
