Deputy Accountant General (Pension & Funds)

Shri Snehasis Mukherjee is an Indian Audit & Account Service (IA&AS) officer of 2021 batch. He took over the charge of Deputy Accountant General (Pension & Funds) in the Office of the Accountant General (A&E) Assam in the forenoon of 17.07.2025. Before assuming this charge, he was holding the charge of Deputy accountant General (Accounts & VLC) in this office. Prior to posting in this office, he worked in the Office of the Director General of Audit (Central), Kolkata, involved in the revenue audit (of GST) and expenditure audit of Civil offices and Autonomous bodies under Govt. of India. He has also undertaken a few foreign assignments in connection with the audit of the United Nation’s Programmes and Agencies.

Shri Shashi Ranjan Singh

Deputy Accountant General (Accounts & VLC)

Shri Shashi Ranjan Singh is an Indian Audit & Accounts Service (IA&AS) Officer of 2023 batch. He has done B.Sc. (Economics Hons.) from University of Calcutta and M.A. (Political Science) from IGNOU. After completing his training at the National Academy of Audit and Accounts (NAAA) Shimla, he took over the charge of Deputy Accountant General (Accounts & VLC) in the Office of the Accountant General (A&E), Assam in the forenoon of 31.07.2025.
