Dr. Sanjay Rao Kamineni is a 2016 batch officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IAAS) and currently serves as Director, Centre of Excellence for Financial Audit (CoEFA), Hyderabad.He cleared the Civil Services Examination (UPSC) in 2015 and completed his foundational training at the National Academy of Audit and Accounts, Shimla, supplemented by specialised exposure at the United Nations, New York, and participation in the Indo Kuwait Bilateral Seminar.Dr. Sanjay Kamineni also holds the charge of Senior Deputy Accountant General (AMG II), Telangana, in the Office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit), Telangana, where he oversees audits of key Economic Sector Departments such as Finance, Energy, Industries, IT, Agriculture, and Civil Supplies, as well as the Financial Audit of Statutory Corporations and Government Companies of the Government of Telangana. He earlier served as Deputy Accountant General (Audit) in Tripura (2018 to 2021).

Dr. Sanjay Kamineni holds an MBBS from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, and hails from Karimnagar, Telangana. Outside work, he enjoys travelling, running, and playing tennis.
