Mr. Kumar Chandresh is an officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) of the 2014 batch, and joined the Academy as Director (Admin/Chadwick) on 06.11.2025.

Over the course of his career, Shri Chandresh has served the departments in various capacities as Director at the O/o DGA, Defence Services, New Delhi (Patna) Deputy Accountant General (Administration) in the Accountant General (A&E II), Uttar Pradesh, Allahabad, and as Deputy Director in the Principal Director of Audit, North Central Railway, Allahabad.

Mr. Chandresh holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from Hindu College, Delhi university. His career also includes foreign assignments, reflecting his growing expertise and international exposure such as Audit on Universal Health Coverage (GPW 13, Strategic Priority 1) held in WHO, Geneva, Switzerland (November 2024). He was also part of the Audit of Defence Pension Disbursement Offices (DPDOs) conducted in Dharan and Kathmandu, Nepal (November 2022). He also supervised the Audit of BRO (64 Road construction company) units at Kanglung, Bhutan. Earlier, during his probation, he participated in an overseas attachment with the Supreme Audit Institution of South Africa (February 2017).
