Outdoor & Trekking Committee

The training imparted to the Officer Trainees in the Academy is not only academic in nature but also aims at a 360° development of their personality and skills. As an integral part of this training, this Committee arranges for small outings, picnics, rafting and treks during the free weekends at the Academy. The Secretary of this Committee and its 3 to 4 members look into all the aspects of logistics of the trips: from arranging conveyances, place(s) to stay and equipment as required, to providing for food and beverages… in short, everything that are required to make the trips a pleasure and a success. During one or two days' attachments with Govt. Departments, this Committee looks after the logistics issues, if so required.
